Reports have suggested that Leicester are looking at ex-Swiss international Bruno Berner.
Berner, who has 16 caps for Switzerland and featured in Euro 2004, can play at left-back, centre-back and on the left-wing and was recently released by Blackburn Rovers after only starting two games in his one-and-a-half-years at Ewood Park.
Last night, it emerged that he had allegedly been having a medical at City, but this could just turn out to be a ‘pre-trial’ medical.
He had started a trial with Norwich only a week ago.

30, thanks. Does anyone know why he played so few matches for Blackburn? Was it that he wasn’t good enough, others were better or was he injured, or maybe a combination?
I think he just wasn’t picked.
I know its a lot of questions but any idea why he wasn’t picked? I’m assuming its because he simply wasn’t good enough?
