No Aberdeen move for Maybury?

Alan Maybury, who was released by Leicester this summer looked as though he would be signing for Aberdeen this summer but this isn’t looking like being the case now with Willie Miller admitting this is not likely to happen according to reports in the Leicester Mercury.

Maybury spent the end of last season on loan with the club and following his release looked odds on to return to Scotland on a permanent basis, but his search for a new club will now go on.

Tommy Wright however could be moving to Aberdeen though. The local lad, and another former Leicester player is interesting them, and the Scottish side might look to sign him from Darlington?

Surprised Maybury is still looking for a club

He’s been an Irish international, and probably could be in the squad again so I do agree. Maybe his wage demands were too high for Aberdeen?
