Portuguese centre back Miguel Vitor is set to fly in for talks with Leicester tomorrow.

The details of the transfer are currently unknown, but a season long loan deal has been reported in the Portugese press.

The Benfica defender has been targeted by new manager Paulo Sousa as he looks to set about replacing the outgoing Wayne Brown quickly.

At just 21-years-old Vitor has been touted as a centre back with a future, not least demonstrated by his Benfica debut at the age of 18 to go with his 15 Under-21 caps for Portugal.

Vitor could complete Sousa’s youthful defensive heart, with Aleksander Tunchev, Jack Hobbs and Michael Morrison all vying for strarting berths next season.

It has also been suggested that the young defender can play at right back, a position City will need to fill this summer as a result of Nolberto Solano’s departure from the club.
