Season Awards Show Why Leicester Duo Cannot Be Allowed To Leave

|

Yesterday saw Leicester City announce the shortlists for the Award nominations for the season of 2017/18.

Although it has been a mixed year with results under Claude Puel and fans have their own thoughts about the style of play he wants to forge forward with, a slip-up or two less would still see us realistically in the battle for European football next season and that shouldn’t be forgotten.

Some players have naturally stood out more than others though.

The three categories open for a vote, which will be presented at the End of Season Dinner, are:

Player of the Season
Young Player of the Season

Fans will have their own opinions on each category and those included, but one thing is guaranteed when you look at the video for Goal of the Season – Jamie Vardy takes the headlines for his goalscoring ability this campaign, but Mahrez has been absolutely key to us with his eight assists for the campaign so far.

Leicester fans were quick to note that on social media.
