It’s being reported that Liam Moore could be set for another loan spell, and that David Nugent could depart on a permanent basis in the next few weeks.

Beginning with Moore, the Daily Mail say that a number of Championship level sides are once more interested in the 22 year old and manager Claudio Ranieri is considering sending him out for the rest of the campaign to really get a run of games under his belt given the competition we have in defence now.

As you’d expect there’s no quotes or inside club source commentary here, but it’s not a great leap to think we’d consider letting him out for games again given the signings we’ve made this summer.

It’s also being reported that Leicester have accepted a £4million offer from Middlesbrough for Nugent.

He was apparently given permission last Friday to talk to them and manager Aitor Karanka and of course he wasn’t in the squad at the weekend for the Sunderland game.

Again with the signings we’ve made and the competition we have up front, and the fact even last year he came off the bench mainly, this wouldn’t be a great surprise to see him move on now.

It’s also being said that further talks are being held with Gokhan Inler of Napoli. It was believed this deal was off, but with further talks reportedly taking place and the fact the 31 year old Swiss international rejected a move to Olympiakos over the weekend – it seems to have given the press fresh hope he’s on his way to the King Power.

It’s said our offer of just over £3million for him continues to be accepted and sits on the table until the player makes his mind up.
