Nigel Pearson has completed his sixth signing of the summer by bringing Liverpool youngster Jack Hobbs to the Walkers Stadium, with him joining City on a season long loan.
Hobbs, 19, is a central defender who can also play in midfield and is highly rated at Liverpool by their gaffer Rafael Benitez, with the Reds signing him from Lincoln when he was 17 after playing only three minutes of professional football.
Benitez handed the youngster his Premier League debut last season in December in a win over Bolton.
