Nigel Pearson has wasted no time in the transfer market to sign highly rated centre back Jack Hobbs from Liverpool on a 4-year contract, as revealed to you by Vital Leicester on Wednesday.

Hobbs had been on loan at the club for the season after joining from the Reds, and since established himself as an immediate choice for the Foxes.

The fee is thought to be in the region of around £400k plus extra clauses, with Liverpool hoping to recoup most of what they initially paid for him from Lincoln on his 17th birthday.

It is a signing that every Leicester fan should, and is happy with after an impressive season in League One, with Hobbs fully expected to become a big part of Leicester’s future.
