Leicester City trio Jack Hobbs, Matt Oakley and Matty Fryatt have all been nominated by their fellow players into League One’s PFA team of the season.

Hobbs fills the centre back spot after a hugely impressive season on loan from Liverpool which saw manager Nigel Pearson waste no time in making the deal permament, tying Hobbs down to a four-year contract.

Matt Oakley also makes the grade after his hugely impressive season at the heart of Leicester’s midfield alongside youngster Andy King. The captain has led by example throughout, weighing in with his fair share of goals and assists for the champions.

Finally, top-goalscorer Matty Fryatt completes the trio after finding the net 26 times in League One this season. Alongside Steve Howard, Fryatt became the first player in 42 years to score 20 before Christmas, and the first in 83 years to score successive hat-tricks.

Dean Lewington (MK Dons)

Fabian Delph (Leeds)
