Foxes Drawn at Silkmen

Newly promoted Leicester City will travel to Macclesfield Town in the first round of this season’s Carling Cup.

The game will be played at Moss Road in the week beginning August 10th.

The two sides met in the same competition in the 06/07 season, with the Foxes running out comfortable 2-0 winners on the night.

Meanwhile, Leicester will find out who they will be playing on the first match of the season when the preliminary fixture list is released tomorrow.
