Leicester will begin life back in the Championship with a home tie against Swansea City when the seasons kicks off on August the 8th.
The provisional 09/10 Championship fixtures were released this morning, and can be viewed in full here.
Due to some ridiculous regulations imposed by a few jobs-worths in football, we aren’t obliged to publish the full fixture list, so we’ll simply round up some of the key ties for you.
Boxing Day sees Sheffield United visit the Walkers for Leicester’s standard boxing day defeat, whilst the Foxes visit East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest on December 5th and Derby County on March 27th.
A tough opening month sees Nigel Pearson’s men handed with three away ties in August, sandwiched between a mid-week Carling Cup tie at Macclesfield.
Leicester will play their first F.A. Cup tie of the season on January 2nd.

tricky start – Swansea are no mugs!
I agree, new manager at Swansea which means he wont know his players that well, but a good place to see if the Owls are to be able to challenge this coming season.
