Leicester’s Premier League season continued with a win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday at the King Power Stadium.

In any other season a win over Chelsea would be considered ‘remarkable’ in some ways but given the season both are having, in a game where Leicester arguably would have been ‘the favourites’ to win, the Foxes winning two-one wasn’t really a surprise!

Goals either side of half time from (that man) Jamie Vardy and a fine curling Riyad Mahrez effort just after the break had Leicester in control. Loic Remy came off the bench to pull one back but it wasn’t enough for the Champions as the Foxes kept up their own title credentials with three-points to move them back to the top of the Premier League table.

Chelsea, they remain a point off the relegation zone!

These were the other results.

Saturday 12th December 2015
Norwich 1-1 Everton
Crystal Palace 1-0 Southampton
Man City 2-1 Swansea
Sunderland 0-1 Watford
West Ham 0-0 Stoke
Bournemouth 2-1 Man Utd

Sunday 13th December 2015
Aston Villa 0-2 Arsenal
Liverpool 2-2 West Brom
Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle

Monday 14th December 2015
Leicester 2-1 Chelsea

Looking at these results (despite some interesting ones) the stand out ones (this one aside in some ways) have to be wins for Bournemouth and Newcastle against Man United and Spurs, respectively?

At Dean Court on Saturday Bournemouth secured that two-one win over Man United meaning the Cherries followed up the win at Chelsea (on the Monday) with a win against United in under a week!

It wasn’t a bad week for Newcastle either as the two-matches Steve McClaren apparently had to save his job resulted in wins! A win against Liverpool (at home the Sunday before) was followed up with a comeback win to see off Spurs two-one at White Hart Lane.
