Leicester Lose At Liverpool

Leicester’s Premier League season continued with a one-nil defeat against Liverpool at Anfield on Boxing Day.

The Leicester run, which stood at nine-matches without a defeat going into Christmas, was ended when Christian Benteke came off the bench to score a second half winner for Liverpool when he finished off Roberto Firmino pass to win it for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Some ‘Christmas crackers’ weren’t there!

The pressure was pilled on Man United boss Louis van Gaal even more with another defeat, slumping to a two-nil defeat at Stoke with Norwich, victorious over United the weekend before it was back down to earth with a bump losing three-nil at Spurs!

Arsenal blew their chance to stamp their authority on a title challenge, following the win over Man City before this (who got back to winning ways thrashing Sunderland), when they were battered in a shocking four-nil defeat at the St Mary’s Stadium!
