Leicester manager Nigel Pearson has swooped to make his sixth signing of the summer with the capture of 19-year-old former Liverpool midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic.

The player spent time on loan with the Foxes at the tail end of last season, making five appearances in a City shirt in that time. Ajdarevic did not actually make a starting appearance last year, but it seems as though the Swedish youth international has done enough for Pearson to hand him a one-year contract.

Ajdarevic joined Liverpool from Falkenbergs in 2007, before winning the F.A Youth Cup with the Reds in the same year.

The player has signed a deal which will keep him at the club until 2010.
