Work has begun on the refurbishment of the player surface at the Walkers Stadium, as our new owners continue to work on improving all aspects of the club.

Our new pitch will be cultivated over a 9 week period and the work will ultimately see a Desso Grassmaster system used which combines natural grass with syntheric fibres to provide a stronger and more resiliant pitch. This system is similar to what is currently used by clubs such as Arsenal and Liverpool.
