Rob Douglas has finally shaken off his injuries and is back in training trying to get some match fitness. Although Kelly will be happy to see Douglas fully fit it will leave him with a tough decision on who is his number one goalkeeper. So far this season Paul Henderson has managed to keep two clean sheets and has put in some solid performances. However, Rab Douglas is seen to be the number one goalkeeper. It is a difficult decision to make for Rob Kelly, does he stick with Henderson or does he bring Douglas straight back into the starting eleven?

Both goalkeepers seem to have their flaws and both regularly leave the Leicester faithful peering through their fingers. Henderson has a tendacy to punch the ball rather then catch it, which can sometimes see him come for a cross and completely miss the ball. Douglas does tend to catch the ball when he comes to collect crosses, but he also seems to rush out of his goal too often and has given several penalities away since arriving at Leicester.

Both goalkeepers have their critics in the crowd and some City fans were hoping to see a new goalkeeper appear before the end of the transfer window. However, the chance of this happening was always slim and with both keepers fit it seems Kelly is happy with what he currently has.

Throughout the years Leicester have always had a good goalkeeper in their side, names such as Shilton, Banks, Flowers, Walker roll of the tongue and all of them have been England internationals. Leicester are used to having an established goalkeeper who can be relied on to pull off vital saves throughout the season.

Whether or not Henderson or Douglas can live up to previous goalkeepers will be shown over the course of the season. Most Leicester fans would just be happy if Henderson stopped running out and punching nothing at crosses and Douglas decided to stay on his goal line a bit more.
