Bit of luck

Matty Fryatt is a young player and seems to have been given a lot of pressure from a Leicester crowd who see him as their saviour. He managed to score 6 goals in 18 games last season and instantly made Leicester more of an attacking side when he arrived.

So far this season the luck doesn`t seem to be running for him and he is yet to get off the mark. Also his partnership with Ian Hume hasn`t clicked as of yet. Towards the end of last season Fryatt and Hume created a deadly partnership which saw 12 goals between them.

Although Fryatt is still waiting to get his first goal, it is encouraging for Leicester fans to see that Fryatt isn`t afraid to continue to get into goal scoring positions. Also he is still creating chances for those players around him, which sometimes gets forgotten behind his goal scoring talents.

Most Leicester fans will be ecstatic if Fryatt could start banging the goals in for Leicester, but the only problem with Fryatt starting to score regularly is that it will no doubt attract the attention of some Premiership clubs. Throughout the summer there were rumours of potential bids for Fryatt from Premiership clubs and if he were to go on a good scoring run before Christmas then Leicester could expect some offers during the January transfer window.

Even if Fryatt scoring means added interest in him during the January transfer window, most City fans will still be hoping that Fryatt can start to link up with Hume like they did last season and that Fryatt starts to have a bit more luck in front of goal.

Hopefully Fryatt will break his goal scoring duck as soon as possible and the Leicester crowd will continue to support the young player and cheer him on until he does get that elusive goal.
