Once again Leicester showed against Wolves that when they take a lead in a game they are unable to hold onto it. So far this season Leicester have only managed to keep three clean sheets in the league and have currently let in 29 goals in only 22 games.

Luckily for Leicester, Levi Porter was on hand to put Leicester back in front against Wolves on Saturday but to often this season Leicester have struggled to score goals and by not keeping clean sheets they are making it even more difficult for themselves to pick up points.

The last clean sheet Leicester managed to keep was a 0-0 draw against Colchester United back in September, this game was the league debut for Conrad Logan and since that game he has failed to keep the ball out of the back of the net.

Leicester fans might point to the fact that the team have suffered with injuries to vital players such as Paddy McCarthy, Darren Kenton and Patrick Kisnorbo. However, Leicester still have the depth in defence to lose such players and still be capable of keeping a clean sheet.

Most fans would suggest that Leicester are missing a creative midfielder in the centre of the pitch or an experienced striker, who can take the pressure off the younger strikers. Maybe they should also start to consider that the defence is also struggling and if they continue to fail to keep clean sheets then Rob Kelly may need to look at the underlying problem and whether a defender needs to be added to the squad in the January transfer
