A list of six potential new managers for Leicester City have emerged following the ‘mutual’ termination of Sven’s contract last night. No great surprises really in the six, although there are a couple in the wider list.

Martin O’Neill is the obvious favourite having indicated that he would prefer a club job again instead of Northern Ireland manager. Roy Keane, Sparky Marky Hughes, Billy Davies, Steve McClaren and Ian Holloway seem the favourites in the press this morning, but there are also mentions for Simon Grayson, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer stands out, as does Alan Shearer and David O’Leary.

However William Hill have Derek Fazackerly at 14-1 aswell. Bet365 have Glenn Hoddle at 16-1.

I’m sure over the coming days, especially as Football Director Andrew Neville says the club do not at this stage have anybody in particular in mind, there’ll be a few more left field suggestions from the bookies.
