Pearson interested in Irish fullback?

Nothing has been confirmed, or even denied by Nigel Pearson but some reports are linking Leicester with a move for Ian Harte.

The Republic of Ireland international spent last season with Sunderland but made only a handful of appearances and is now looking for a new club after his release, with it believed that Pearson is one of the managers looking at him, with Watford and Swansea both credited with an interest as well.

Should Harte, 30, be willing to make the drop to League One then I think he would be a very good signing.
