The Milan Mandaric takeover has led to nearly all Leicester fans having a new sense of optimism sweep over them. Gone are the worries about relegation, administration and what lies in store for City.

Now fans are talking about how long it will take City to get into the Premiership, which players need to be bought and whether or not a new manager is needed.

This season has seen Leicester plod along in the Championship with seemingly nothing for the fans to cheer about and nothing for the players to aim for. However, the arrival of Mandaric has seen a buzz around Leicester that hasn`t been there for several seasons.

Fans are once again excited about the future of the football club and what lies in store. Even though there is this new found optimism within the club, both the players and fans have to be careful. There is one important fact that everyone seems to be forgetting about and it`s that Leicester are still not safe from relegation and there are still several important matches that City will have to win between now and the end of the season.

The plans Mr Mandaric has in store for City will not include the team being relegated to League One. So before the club and fans can start planning for the Premiership, they need to make sure that the team is still in the Championship at the end of the season and that starts with the game at home to Coventry on Saturday.

Congrats foxes, as a pompey fan i can tell you Milan will put your club through whatever pain and roller coaster is required to put it in order and if after 3 years he has not got your team into the PL he will make whatever changes he needs get you there. In regards to the real value of the deal if it is a parallel to his pompey time he will anounce the deal of a certain value buy the club a reduced value ( in foxes case 4+ million ) and invest the difference in the team and club infrastructure. He will not be too open whilst he sorts out your club debt, he believes you have to resolve the issues off the pitch to support the players on the pitch. In short be patient and you will see he is going to be good news for your club. When he feels that he has taken you as far as he financially can he will find a buyer to take you forward. At pompey there are two clear periods. Before Milan when we were to be relegated from the old Div 1 and liquidation to follow. And because of Milan when we managed the highest promotion score to the PL, the greatest relegation escape seen and we have not been lower than 8th all season. As we still say down here THERE IS ONLY ONE MILAN
