Matt Oakley has been nominated for January’s League One player of the month award.
The nomiation arrives following some fine performances in the month for the Foxes, as they stormed to a 10 point lead at the top of League One.
The team registered four wins and a draw during January, with captain Oakley consistently at the heart of things for Nigel Pearson’s men.
Aaron Wilbraham (MK Dons), Gary Hooper (Scunthorpe) and Mark Yeates (Colchester United) are also up for the award.
The winner will be announced at 6pm on Monday on Sky Sports’ Big League Weekend 2.
