Nigel Pearson has declared that Leicester have a clean bill of health ahead of our game against Huddersfield this weekend.

Speaking to lcfc.com ahead of the game, Pearson explained that after initial testing, Andy King, Marcin Wesolowski, Wes Morgan, Sean St. Ledger and Kasper Schmeichel have all returned from international action on the worse for wear and will all be available for selection come the weekend.

Leicester are on a five match winning streak in all competitions at home and have yet to lose on home soil, and not only will the manager and players be looking to extend that this weekend, they will also be looking to make up for the loss against Doncaster in our last match.

‘We’re in a pretty good condition. The positives are that we’ve got Chris Wood and Gary Taylor-Fletcher training, so we’re more or less fully fit.’

Pearson admits that with what can go wrong over an international break, we can consider ourselves fortunate to have players return in good health and ready to go again, but he knows Huddersfield will pose a tough test for us and he’s more than aware of the dangers of their frontman James Vaughan, so he knows we’ll have to be at our best to keep them quiet and then get the result that we all want.

As ever though, it’s not so much worrying about what strengths the opposition bring, it’s about focusing on our own strengths, our own gameplan and making sure we execute it properly on the day.
