So, we’ve had a few more days since the last installment, and with that comes more fresh ones off the rumour mill…

May 9th: Ross Turnbull – The Middlesbrough goalkeeper is out of contract at the end of the season, and along with ‘Boro’s Premiership status, his future is in doubt after turning down a new deal. The Daily Mirror reports that the goalkeeper could be on Nigel Pearson’s hitlist this summer following his impressive early season form for Gareth Southgate’s team. However, according Sky Sports, Turnbull is also wanted by Chelsea and Newcastle.

May 10th: Aaron Gunnarsson – Another ambitious one, but according to Icelandic media (apparently), the young Coventry midfielder is also a Leicester target. Don’t expect to hear anymore on this subject…

May 10th: Shaun Barker – The Blackpool centre half has enjoyed a successful season for the Seasiders, and has attracted interest from a number of Championship clubs including Derby County, Nottingham Forest, Leeds and ourselves. If the interest is genuine, striker DJ Campbell could be used as part of the bait to lure away the club captain from Blackpool. Although his move to centre back has been a revelation at the club this season, Barker is also content as a right back, a position that surely holds more interest to Pearson.
