A busy day for Leicester in the transfer market as Collins John completes his move to the Walkers Stadium

John, joins from Premiership side Fulham after finding his first team chances limited.

John, 22, has signed a three month loan deal and could be thrown straight into the first team for tonights game against Sheffield United after being cleared to play and with Iain Hume serving a suspension for his dismissal at Scunthorpe.

John has scored 20 times in 95 appearences since joining Fulham from Dutch side FC Twente, he has also been capped twice by the Dutch national team.

His strike record is ever so slightly more impressive than the last Fulham striker City took on loan, Elvis Hammond persuading then manager Craig Levein to part with £700,000 despite his lack of a single first team goal!

City have also been busy shipping players out the other way, keeper Rab Douglas, now 4th choice at The Walkers moves to Wycombe for three months with a view to a permanent deal in the winter window, Douglas is yet to feature for Leicester this season and has only just completed a one month loan spell at Millwall.

Perhaps more surprisingly, Radostan Kishishev one of a number of new singings in the summer has joined Leeds for a month. With Wesolowski and Clemence both featuring at the weekend after coming back from injury, Kishishev has been moved back to Leeds, where he had previously been on loan last season from Charlton.

So changes to the squad and still rumours aplenty about a change at the top with Bolton still maintaining their pursuit of Megson, we may be dull on the field but there’s plenty happening off it it would seem.
