How many more left to fall?

Apart from the colour Leicester City’s search for a new manager is beginning to sound like that old song ‘Ten Green Bottles.’

And if one green bottle should accidentally fall there’ll be nine green bottles…

First there was Steve Cotterill, then Neil Lennon, followed by Mike Newell and today there is Steve Tilson from Southend, Gudjon Thordarson of Notts County and Kevin Blackwell of Leeds.

All have said or suggested they are now out of the running although it still does not seem as if City have actually offered anyone the post.

Meanwhile caretaker manager Rob Kelly goes about his job and goalkeeper Rab Douglas follows striker Matty Fryatt in saying the players like what Kelly is doing and think he should be allowed to continue.

If that is what the players want then the best way they can help is by winning at Brighton tomorrow because three wins on the bounce would be a compelling argument for any boss.

It might even make Rob Kelly the last green bottle!
