After last weeks complete and utter failure to predict the right result, never mind the right score. We contacted Future Forecast Fox to see what ‘it’ had to say about getting the prediction wrong.

Vital: Hello

FFF: I knew you were going to say that!

Vital: You predicted that the score between Leicester and Colchester would be 2-1, How did you get it so wrong?

FFF: The 2-1 score line was only one of several possible outcomes of the game. At the time of making the prediction it seemed the most likely possibility however, once the game had started the possibility of a 2-1 score line started to change.

Vital: Was that because as soon as the game started it was obvious Leicester couldn’t score in a month of Sundays.

FFF: Possibly

Vital: Can’t you just admit that you got it wrong and you can’t see into the future?

FFF: I cannot say that, as it would be a lie.

Vital: Ok then, we will give you another chance. What is your prediction for the Birmingham City versus Leicester City game?

FFF: In many ways this will be an easier game for Leicester City. The game against Colchester saw Colchester sit back and be happy for Leicester to try and break them down. This resulted in 10 Colchester players behind the ball. However, the game against Birmingham will be different.

Birmingham are the team at home and will be expected by their fans to go and take the game to Leicester. This will give Leicester the opportunity to try and find space when going forward and could lead to them creating more opportunities.

The most important thing in the game is which team controls the centre of midfield. If Leicester can control the ball in the centre of the park then they could walk away with the win.

Vital: Can you give us a prediction for the final score

FFF: Birmingham 0-1 Leicester

Vital: You’re predicting a Leicester win!

FFF: At this point in time it seems the most likely outcome

Vital: Looks like you will get another one wrong come 6pm Saturday.

FFF: Only time will tell.
