Leicester manager Sven-Goran Eriksson is deciding whether to recruit South Africa international Bernard Parker, after agreeing a fee for the striker.

Parker spent time on trial with the Foxes last month, and scored in the reserve team draw with Aston Villa.

Leicester have matched FC Twente’s asking price for the 24-year-old, but Eriksson says the club have not decided whether to complete the deal just yet.

“That depends only on us, whether we decide to do the deal,” he said.

“The deal has been agreed and we are going to decide in the next couple of days if we are going to do it or not.

“We have agreed a fee with FC Twente, and we will see.”

Parker has been with Twente since 2009, but has made just 14 appearances for the Dutch side without finding the net.
