As had been expected Leicester striker Louis Dodds has today moved on. He signed for Port Vale this afternoon, with the news just announced on port-vale.co.uk. There has been no mention of a fee, but this could have to go to a tribunal to be settled if an agreement wasn’t reached?
Dodds, now 21, is a product of the City Academy and leaves the Walkers Stadium in order to get himself regular football with the League Two side, having rejected a new contract offer to stay here earlier in the summer.
The striker, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, has signed a two-year contract. I wish him good luck in the future.
