Two goals in the last ten minutes against Stockport County on Friday meant that Leicester`s good pre season run continues with them winning all three of their friendly games so far.

An excellent free kick from Gareth Williams (83rd minute) and then a goal from Matty Fryatt sealed the game with only a couple of minutes left on the clock. This is after Stockport had taken the lead in the first half.

Michael Malcolm gave County the lead after 16 minutes due to a poor defensive header from Gareth McAuley. Leicester hit back in the 34th minute when a good shot from Chris O`Grady was saved by the County keeper, only for it to fall into the path of Elvis Hammond, who had an easy tap in.

The two goals in the last ten minutes won the game for Leicester and not for the first time in pre season, gave the impression that the win was a lot easier for City then it actually was.

Even so, the win means it is now three in a row for Leicester and fans will be hoping that it will lead to the squad taking confidence into the start of the Championship

The remaining friendly fixtures for Leicester will see them play against Lincoln City (Monday 24th July) and Real Sociedad (Friday July 28th). Leicester fans will be hoping that City continue their good form and hopefully take a 100% winning record into the first game against Luton Town on 5th August.
