Blackburn have activated their 24-hour recall clause in Mark Bunn’s loan spell contract to bring the goalkeeper back to Ewood Park.

It comes following injury to Paul Robinson in Blackburn’s 2-1 victory over Hull City yesterday.

Bunn made three appearance in a City shirt, which included two draws and one win, in which he saved a crucial penalty.

It now means manager Nigel Pearson may have to rush David Martin back from injury for tomorrow night’s game at home to Stockport, or alternatively look to youngster Carl Pentney or forgotten man Conrad Logan.
