Leicester midfielder James Wesolowski has joined Scottish SPL side Hamilton Academical on loan for an initial six months.

The Australian has been plagued with injuries since breaking into the Leicester first team in 2006, suffering two broken legs and a broken ankle thus far.

Wesolowski is no stranger to Scottish football after linking up with Dundee United at the tail end of last season, his time with the club being cut short on that occassion by a hamstring injury.

Now the 21-year-old must aim to stay injury free during his spell with Hamilton to stand any chance of working his way back into Nigel Pearson’s plans.

Vital Verdict: It would be such a shame to see his career peter out into nothing. Wesolowski has undoubted quality, but this is sadly overshadowed by his never-ending injury history. With two broken legs, as well as several other injuries, there can surely be no way back for the youngster at Leicester.
