Tiatto desperate for a win

With Leicester City skipper Danny Tiatto out for at least another month after knee surgery last week, he’s in great danger of collecting an unwanted record.

Tiatto has already gone from the beginning of August to the first week in March having never been on the winning side in any League match that he has started.

Of the nine such games that he has played in Leicester have drawn six and lost three.

Even then he was substituted five times and sent off once so it has been a miserable season so far and he will be desperate for a happier ending.

Tiatto has played a part in 21 League matches, and some have been won.

But whether any Leicester club captain has ever completed a season without starting a League game that his team went on to win is one for the statisticians.

But it is a record he won’t want and he’ll probably have four or five matches left to put things right on his return.
