Sven-Goran Eriksson described yesterdays 2-1 loss to Real Madrid as a football party for everyone in attendance.

As hoped, Jose Mourinho certainly didn’t rest his big name players and Foxes fans were in for a treat.

Speaking to lcfc.com the manager said.

‘I thought it was like a football party, with lots of events around the stadium and on the pitch, it was a good game and very good for us. It was a good workout, I think we stood up to them well.’

The only downside to the day was the injury scare about Matt Mills after he got clobbered by their keeper.

Ruling out any long term problems, Sven added.

‘Matt was a little dizzy after a couple of knocks so he had to lie down for an hour, but now he’s ok.’
