Leicester City Reserves have named an apparently mystery ‘trialist’ for their away game against Fulham reserves at Motspur Park tonight (7-00pm).

He is simply listed in the team as James Walker and is believed to be Charlton Athletic’s England Under 19 Youth International although there was no information on the OS to confirm who he is or where he has come from.

Charlton’s Walker has recently been told he will not be offered a new contract having burst onto their reserve scene as a schoolboy in 2003/04.

Described on Charlton’s OS as a ‘strong’ striker, Walker has made regular appearances for Charlton Reserves this season.

However he has recently turned out for Luton Reserves and enjoyed a spell on loan at Hartlepool where he played four first team matches.

He is now scheduled to play in a number of ‘exit trial’ friendlies arranged at Charlton in the spring for outgoing ‘scholars’.

With City having played at Kenilworth Road on Saturday it seems certain that contact would have been made with him then.

Meanwhile Leicester right winger Max Gradel will have the chance to score a sixth goal in six succcessive reserve team outings and his seventh successive single goal counting an Academy appearance.

And Elvis Hammond will be turning out against his old club gaining further match practice after missing out on first team action over recent weeks.

City: Conrad Logan, Jay Smedley, Adam Wykes, Levi Porter, Scott Lycett, Connor Franklin, Max Gradel, Louis Dodds, James Walker (trialist), Elvis Hammond, Joe Hamill.

Subs: Andy King, Carl Pentley, Eric Odhiambo, Joe Mattock, Tom Tejan-sie.
