1) So, how’s your season gone so far?

Eurgh! Not well. It’s such a shame because the board have done so well on the non-football side but got important things wrong on the football side. To their credit the board have acknowledged these errors.

Maurice Malpas was a poor appointment, we didn’t give him much of a chance but he never gave us anything to smile about either.

2) It seems Swindon are perilously close to the relegation zone, is it deserved?

Of course it’s deserved, we’ve been lucky that Cheltenham, Hereford, Orient and Crewe have been a little bit worse than us! We’ve been down there for what feels like an eternity but have yet to fall into the relegation zone.

This season we’ve surrendered too many leads and conceded too many late goals. Don’t get me started on set pieces.

3) Are you happy with Danny Wilson in charge at the club?

I am. Wilson knows what he’s doing, more so than Malpas. We’ve not played many games under him yet but he’s done adequate jobs elsewhere. I’ve forgiven him for managing Franchise FC too.

The whole appointment went on for far too long – It was something like six weeks. Previously, we had chased employed people with no back-up which proved to be a bit of a mistake.

4) What should we be looking out for from your Swindon side on Saturday?

A battle! We’ve done alright against the ‘better’ teams this season. Most of us are expecting a loss so as long as we give you a proper game win, lose or draw I’ll be content.

5) Which teams have impressed you most so far this season?

Well, as far as the Top 6 goes we’ve only lost to Millwall. Although, I remain impressed with the set-up at Scunthorpe United, they are a club that we can aspire to because they haven’t got the biggest names but they are clearly doing things right.

6) Which player in League One has impressed you most so far this season?

At times we can make the most mediocre look like magicians! It’s impressive that Simon Cox has scored 18 in this team! Gary Roberts at Huddersfield is having a great season.

7) What did you think of the 2-2 draw the two sides played out earlier this season?

I thought the draw was fair – We had just lost to Histon in the FA Cup, then Brighton in the JPT which led to the sacking of Maurice Malpas. Town fans left buzzing; hoping, wishing, praying that all of our woes was due to Malpas’ reign so the late goals helped – however, it fell flat eventually and we went back to playing poorly.

8) What are your relalistic hopes for the future?

At this moment in time? Survival. We’ve still got to play the teams around us which will obviously be crucial for us. However, the next month or so is now heavily congested (something like 9 fixtures in 29 days) so we’ll see how that turns out.

9) Finally, match prediction?

Leicester City 3-1 Swindon Town
