Nigel Pearson has hailed an outstanding team performance after our 2-0 victory over Huddersfield last night.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the game, Pearson said.

‘Anthony will get the headlines, but there were outstanding performances through the team. We played the conditions very well, it was awful out there. The players controlled the game very well and made a lot of good decisions, it was a good all round performance.’

Speaking about our youngsters brace, Pearson added.

‘It was a perfect night for being speculative, but technically it was a fantastic striker. The second one was a piece of improvisation, which shows the talent he’s got.’

Knockaert is looking to be a grand bit of business from Pearson in the summer.
