Reports from the weekend have said that Nigel Pearson is looking to bring in a new ‘keeper to challenge those already at Leicester.
The new man that Pearson is after is reported as being Derby ‘keeper Stephen Bywater, formerly with West Ham and an England U21. The experienced ‘keeper, now 27, was loaned to Ipswich last season but they have not shown an interest in keeping him.
However further reports today are saying that the approach made was for a loan deal, which has been turned down.
