Nigel Pearson was pleased to see us get the victory over Leeds today but admitted it wasn’t ‘a particularly good game’.

Speaking to lcfc.com after the 2-1 win, the gaffer was happy to put the game behind him and focus on plans to rebuild over the summer.

‘We finished with a win, but I didn’t think it was a particularly good game. Now we can look forward to rebuilding over the summer.’

One highlight was Harry Panayiotou’s debut goal and our winner, with Pearson adding.

‘It’s good for Harry to get the experience and for us to be able to blood young players, but it’s also important to keep his feet firmly on the ground. He’s on the first rung of the ladder and he has a lot of work to do, but we’re pleased for him.’

Going to be an interest summer I think!
