Today was supposed to be the day when Ian Holloway learned his Leicester fate, as he was meeting with Milan Mandaric. However the Foxes chairman will not be rushing into any ‘hasty’ decisions: ‘This (relegation) should never have happened, and we will discuss all the reasons before making any hasty moves,’ Mandaric told the Leicester Mercury. ‘I want to take some time to organise myself, look at the whole structure of the club which, like a broken record, I have said many times was built on sand.

‘When I came here I thought I could do so much, spend money on players and back the manager, but it just has not worked out and we have to find the reasons for it and then move on.’

Holloway only took over as manager in November, becoming the third full-time boss of the season for the Foxes.

Mandaric’s decision to hang fire rather than jumping into another hasty decision appears to be a good one for me, but what do you think?
