Liam Moore was delighted with his recent three year extension, but he’s said he hopes that over those three years he can prove himself worthy of another fresh contract at the club.

Speaking to the Leicester Mercury Moore said.

‘I wanted to commit to the club and, luckily, they wanted to commit to me as well. I have got three more years and in that time all I want to do is earn another three years and so on. All I wanted to do was play for Leicester and get out there every week. I don’t need rumours flying around. I am happy where I am.’

Encouraging words from a youngster who should have a very big future in the game if he keeps his head down and continues working hard.

Moore also said he had a good chat with Nigel Pearson when he was dropped because he agreed his form had dipped a bit, so he saw it as a good test for himself to work harder and force his way back into the gaffers plans.
