The end of the season brings the start of the transfer windown, and July 1st is fastly approaching…

April 21st: Peter Leven – OK, so it’s more than a week ago, but who’s splitting hairs? Scored twice for the Dons against Leicester when the two sides met at Stadium:MK earlier in the season, and could have caught the manager’s eye there. Performances allegedly dropped off near the end of the season despite a promising start.

April 29th: Danny N’Guessan – The 21 year-old Lincoln winger has been linked with the Foxes after a successful season in League Two with the Imps which saw him featured in the team of the year. According to Lincoln fans he is pacey, skillful and has the eye for goal, but unfortunately is far too inconcsistent and often lazy. Doesn’t sound like a Pearson type of player to me…

But we’ve all heard these great sources before haven’t we…

May 4th: Mark Bunn – The Blackburn goalkeeper spent some time on loan with Leicester earlier this season, but was recalled when Paul Robinson was injured. A £200,000 figure has been touted, but a permanent deal is unlikely if the reports about Sam Allardyce’s high opinion of the player are true.

May 4th: Kelvin Davis – Another goalkeeper, and another Pearson link. According to the Daily Mail there is also interest from Leeds for the player voted Southampton’s player of the season as the club were relegated to League One.
