Subject to standard clearance, Anthony Knockaert’s transfer to Leicester has been done and dusted.

The 20 year old has now completed all the formalities of the transfer on a three year deal and has been added to the squad for the game against Nuneaton.

Speaking to lcfc.com Nigel Pearson said.

‘Anthony is an extremely talented player that will add a lot of quality so I’m really pleased we’ve been able to bring him in. He has all the attributes to be successful in the Championship.’

Pearson adds that the player will give him lots of options as he can play on either wing, and presumably could be molded into a support role as he develops further.

Anthony has been handed the No24 shirt for the coming season.
