Leicester have been lifted by the news that midfielder Andy King has been given the green light to continue training as normal, after being forced off in Saturday’s defeat to West Bromwich Albion.

The 21-year-old was hauled off in the 43rd minute of the Championship clash with a suspected fractured wrist, but consultants have cleared the Welsh Under-21 international of any serious injury.

King will continue to receive treatment in the coming weeks, and may wear a brace for training purposes.

Meanwhile, the extent of captain Matt Oakley’s injury in Saturday’s match still remains to be reported. The midfielder was also forced off in the first half following a groin injury, but will miss the Foxes’ next match through suspension regardless after picking up his fifth booking of the season.
