Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has wasted no time in making 20-year old Jack Hobbs’ loan move permanent to the Walkers Stadium, Vital Leicester understands.

Hobbs has hugely impressed in his time spent with the club since joining on loan from the Reds last summer, and firmly established himself as the Foxes’ number one centre back in the absence of Aleksander Tunchev.

The deal, thought to be in the region of around £400k, will see Hobbs make his loan move permanent ahead of Leicester’s return to the Championship.

On-loan Hull City defender Wayne Brown has also made the permanent switch to the Walkers, according to sources within the club.

Brown too has been a solid fixture in the final run in of the season since joining in January on loan from the Tigers, and is rumoured to have put pen to paper in a two-year deal worth around £200k.

Both deals are expected to be officially confirmed within the next couple of days, and you can read it here on Vital Leicester when they occur.
