David Nugent has praised his team mates after reflecting on a good week.
Speaking to lcfc.com after grabbing his maiden career hattrick against Hull, Nugent clearly couldn’t have been happier.
‘It’s not been a bad week! I’ve had a few doubles, but good things come to those who wait don’t they – it’s been 11 years! Everyone played well. It was a great team performance and I’ve got to thank my team mates for that.’
It’s been a good start to the season for Nugent and hopefully he’ll be able to carry on that form and help fire us up the league.
