Leicester City striker Matty Fryatt will serve a 3 match ban after his dismissal for violent conduct in the game against Bristol City

Leicester, who have strikers Cort, Campbell and John all injured, did try and appeal the decision, allowing Fryatt to start against Cardiff on Monday.

This appeal was ultimately unsuccessful and Fryatt will miss the next 3 games, starting with Southampton on Saturday.

Hume is left as the only recognised first team striker in the squad however this could represent an opportunity for Ashley Chambers, who impressed in the Cardiff game, to have a run out for the team
