Leicester have secured the services of right-back Kyle Naughton until the end of the season.
The Foxes had hoped to tie up a permanent deal for the Tottenham youngster, but have had to settle for a loan deal deal instead.
The news is still positive for manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, who can now keep hold of the impressive full-back to help the Foxes in their bid for promotion.
In the short-term, Eriksson can be thankful Naughton will be available for City’s FA Cup clash with Manchester City on Sunday, as announced earlier.
City will be hoping for a successful second half of the season to persuade Naughton to join on a permanent basis, with rumours holding the youngster still harbours hopes of making it at White Hart Lane.
