Foxes draw Silkmen

Macclesfield Town will be Leicester’s opponents in the first round of the Carling Cup for the second year running.

This time, however, the Foxes have been handed a home draw at the Walkers Stadium in a reverse of last season’s tie.

Leicester ran out 2-0 winners in last season’s clash, second half goals from Dany N’Guessan and Matty Fryatt putting City through to the next round.

The match will be played on the week beginning August 9th.
