Focus On Three Points

Nigel Pearson has said the team have to be focused on taking all three points from Watford so our season doesn’t end in disappointment.

Speaking to lcfc.com it was probably difficult for Pearson not to sound like a cliched broken record as he explained that with two games left we have to be looking to get the six points that are available to salvage what had been a promising promotion run until the last 10 games hit.

‘We’ve got to try and win both of them. The next one is Watford and clearly our focus is on trying to get three points, it gives us the incentive of being able to put pressure on others teams around us. The players are working hard and seem confident with themselves, and I think that’s important.’

Pearson again adds that over the last couple of games he believes our form has increased and we are more back to our best, and again says we were unlucky to not take all three points from Palace which would have left us a little it more relaxed at the moment, but it’s time to throw out what came before. It’s a two game season now and I’m not sure four points would be enough either.
