Leicester fans wasted no time in snapping up all 4,300 tickets for the key clash with the MK Dons in just over a week’s time.

An initial allocation of 3,500 was provided for the Foxes, with this selling out in two days. The club were then allocated a further 800 tickets to go on sale this morning, of which were all sold out within an hour and a half. Fans were waiting from 6.30 this morning, with the queues stretching some way outside the ticket office.

Therefore the fans will be out in force for the tie against Franchise which will pit 1st vs 2nd, whatever the outcome of this weekend’s set of fixtures.

One fan said: ‘This is the big one. I have been to a lot of the games on the road this season and it has been brilliant, but this is the one we have all been waiting for.

‘Seeing all the people here reminds me of when we played Blackburn in the play-offs. There is a really good atmosphere and I just can’t wait for the game now.’

Leicester face Bristol Rovers on Saturday at the Memorial Stadium.
